Here are some photos of a street in our neighborhood that also got flooded. The amazing thing is, these were taken yesterday (Monday). Today (Tuesday), the water is pretty much all gone! I think we live atop a big sponge...!

I bet the storm was scary! Can you imagine those poor folks who had to up and leave their homes in Louisiana again! We have it good here in the sticks.
Michelle, I have tried and tried posting comments, but for some reason your pop up for comments wasn't coming up for me. FINALLY it did, so I wanted to say I am SO THANKFUL the waters didn't rise to your home although it was very close..
I hope these recent storms haven't caused damage to your home and you all are safe and sound!
